My dream of becoming a horse trainer started at a fairly early age. When I was younger, I fell in love with horses and knew right away that I wanted to train them. However, my family was not into horses and knew nothing about them. It took some convincing! Like a lot of young people with a horse interest, I started out with horse shows and rodeo events, and then I competed two years in a row in the BLM 100 Day Mustang Make Over in Ft Worth, TX and Franklin, TN. Those experiences only enhanced my interest in the training aspect and further fueled my ambition. In Franklin, I met Michael Gascon and knew immediately that I wanted to attend his Horse Help Academy. There is a reason he is called "The Horse Guru". What I learned working with him has made me very confident in the language of the horse and my ability as a professional horse trainer.
